A new version of the puzzle game Genetic Disorder has been released!
Play the game for free at Itch.io, GameJolt, and Kongregate. The game does require the latest version of the Unity plugin to be installed into your browser.
The good news – This new version has enhanced graphics, which should make the blocks much easier to see. The controls have also been improved, so that the player can now move the current piece with the ASD keys and roate with the W key or a mouse click.
The bad news – This version of Genetic Disorder will be released on multiple platforms, which means I had to remove the GameJolt achievements. The GameJolt leaderboards have also been removed.
Genetic Disorder is a puzzle game where you match falling DNA strands to eliminate the cube containing genetic abnormalities. Spheres containing DNA strands will fall from the top of the screen two at a time. These spheres can be rotated around each other. The objective is to match four spheres or cubes in a row, which will remove those objects from the game area and award points. Make combos by having the spheres fall in succession to clear more objects for bonus score. Clear all of the cubes on the screen to eliminate all of the genetic abnormalities and move on to the next stage.
