- Moveslists are in the same boring format
- A character's strategy is the in back while his moves are in the front which results in a constant flipping of pages between the two.
- Each character only has a few strategies against other specific characters
- No character stats
- Rips a few things off from the Official Tekken 3 Ultimate Guide (For example, the Table of Contents is exactly the same, and the characters are in the same exact order. A few expressions, such as "Key Fights" are also borrowed from Versus' book)
- Gray and Red cover is dull
- Lacks a lot pictures of moves and combos
- The font in the strategy section is ridiculous
- 160 pages
